Scrumptious Sesame Pave
Ingredients
- 500g Strong WhiteFlour
- 300g Warm Water
- 50mls Olive Oil
- 7g Easy Action Yeast
- 5g Salt
- 50g Sesame Seeds
Method
- In a large mixing bowl combine the flour, yeast, salt and sesame seeds. Then make a well in the centre, add the water and olive oil.
- Bring the mix together to create a dough, turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead by hand for 15 minutes until the dough becomes elastic and spongy to the touch, alternatively kneed in a mixer with a dough hook attached for 10 minutes.
- Leave in large bowl covered with a damp tea towel to prove in a warm area for 1-2 hours until doubled in volume.
- Turn out into a lightly floured surface and divide into 2 then roll into round balls. Leave to prove for a further half hour.
- Bake at 210oC for 20 minutes.
To Serve
The loafs are ready when golden crust has formed and a hollow sound is produced when the base is tapped. Leave to cool on a wire rack then enjoy with our smoked Ham Hoch Terrine.
