Boozy BBQ Bananas

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 tbsp. light brown sugar
  • 100g butter
  • 50ml baileys

  1. Begin by layering 2 large sheets of aluminium foil on top of each other. Then peel bananas and cut in half lengthways, laying in the centre of your foil.
  2. Sprinkle the sugar on top evenly. Cut the butter into cubes and dot on top. Then drizzle the baileys on top and wrap the tin foil tightly into a parcel.
  3. Once your main course has finished cooking on the BBQ, let it cool slightly, then place the parcel of bananas directly onto the smouldering embers. Let the bananas cook slowly for half an hour until stewed.

To Serve
Remove from BBQ, open foil and serve with ice cream or fresh cream immediately.
