Delectable Chocolate and Pecan Brownie



Ingredients
  • 145g Unsalted Butter
  • 180g Good Quality Chocolate
  • 4 Eggs
  • 250g Caster Sugar
  • 70g Plain Flour
  • 15g Self Raising Flour
  • 100g Pecan Nuts
  • 5g Salt


Method
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 155oC and line a 20cmx30cm cake tin with baking parchment.
  2. Melt the chocolate, butter and 50g of caster sugar.
  3. Meanwhile combine the remaining 200g of caster sugar and eggs.
  4. Once melted add the mixture to the eggs while whisking, then stir the flour and fold in the chocolate batter. Finally stirring in the salt and pecan nuts.
  5. Add the batter into prepared cake tin and bake for 30 minutes.

To Serve
Leave to cool in tin and remove, cut into desired shape and dust lightly with icing sugar.
