Glasgow based illustrator Alice Dansey-Wright is teaming up with Reset Press for a risograph illustration workshop at Custom Lane on the Shore. Similar to screen printing, participants can choose two designs to make into a two-colour layer print. At the end of the workshop, you can print ten copies of your design. Taking place on 24 March, the workshop costs £75.

Head along to the Scotch Malt Whisky Society on the Shore to find out about Australia’s boutique wine producers and lesser-known grapes. Master of Wine Rose Murray Brown will host a tasting of 13 wines and a selection of cheeses on 11 April at 7:30pm. Tickets cost £42pp.

Head to Woodland Creatures on Leith Walk on 4 March for an evening of stand-up comedy. Lubna Kerr and Rik Wolters present their acclaimed Glasgow International Comedy Festival shows. Expect laughs-a-plenty, great food and craft beers.

The UK’s biggest sushi festival is coming to The Biscuit Factory in Leith on 23 and 24 March. They will be offering sushi masterclasses, free sushi giveaways and fantastic live music. Look out for sushi donuts, sushi lollipops, Japanese pancakes and the longest running Sushi Bar in Europe. Tickets cost £14pp.
